The Opportunity

This is a core sales role focused on the Indian market. You will sell MarqX.io packages to Indian SME founders/owners (doctors, lawyers, CAs, retailers, coaches, restaurateurs, small manufacturers, service businesses, etc.) who want to grow their digital presence but don't have the time or expertise to do it themselves.

What You Will Do

  • Outbound Sales: Proactively reach out to prospects via cold calls, WhatsApp, email, LinkedIn, and referrals. Build and manage your own lead pipeline.
  • Discovery & Qualification: Run proper discovery calls to understand pain points, budget, timeline, and decision-makers. Recommend the right package (Starter, Essentials, Pro, AI Bundle).
  • Pitching & Closing: Deliver clear, consultative pitches. Handle objections, negotiate, and close deals independently.
  • Follow-ups & CRM Discipline: Maintain rigorous follow-up cadence. Log all activities in CRM (HubSpot/Zoho). Own your pipeline hygiene.
  • Collection Ownership: Ensure timely payment collection. Incentives are tied to revenue + collections, not just signed contracts.
  • Feedback to Product: Share market insights and objections with leadership to improve offerings.

Target Customers

  • Indian SME founders (service businesses, clinics, professional practices, retail, F&B, coaches, startups)
  • Deal sizes: ₹50K–₹5L+ per project
  • Typical sales cycle: 2–6 weeks

Requirements

  • India-based candidate (mandatory). Strong understanding of Indian SMB buying behavior.
  • 1-6 years of sales experience (B2B/SMB preferred). Experience selling digital services is a plus (website/SEO/ads/agency services).
  • Strong communication skills in English + Hindi (you will sell on calls and WhatsApp).
  • Comfortable with outbound sales: cold calls, follow-ups, objection handling, negotiation, and closing.
  • Ability to run discovery properly: asking the right questions, qualifying budget/timeline/decision-maker, and recommending the right package.
  • Basic understanding of digital marketing fundamentals (website, SEO, social media, ads, conversion, tracking).
  • CRM discipline (HubSpot/Zoho/Salesforce/any CRM) + strong documentation and follow-through.
  • Target-driven mindset with ownership: you manage your numbers daily and do not need micromanagement.
  • Stable internet + professional work setup for calls and demos.
